Australian Hearing works with pharmacies, general practitioners, social groups and aged care providers to promote good hearing health. We want to ensure that free hearing checks are readily available to all Australians.Our hearing check program offers a convenient way for the community to check their hearing.

A hearing check takes just 5 minutes to complete and measures what sounds a patient can and can’t hear. If the results indicate the patient might have a loss of hearing, patients are referred for further full assessment with an audiologist.

聽力檢查只需要五分鐘就可完成，能夠量測病患哪些聲音聽得到或聽不到。如果結果顯示病人可能患有聽損，則必須由聽力師做進一步的聽力評估。

Australian Hearing provides subsidised hearing services for eligible people, including pensioners and most veterans, under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.

Services covered under the program include a hearing assessment and the cost of a hearing device if required, plus fittings and contributions to maintenance and repair of hearing devices.

How to refer your patient to Australian Hearing   如何將您的病患提交給澳洲聽力中心

Eligible people require a Voucher from the Office of Hearing Services (OHS) to receive subsidised hearing services and hearing devices. All new Voucher applications need to be authorised by a doctor.

符合資格的人需要先從OHS申請憑證來獲得聽力服務及補助助聽器的費用。所有新的憑證都必須由醫師來認可。

Once you have provided your patient with a signed Medical Certificate form, they will need to contact their local Australian Hearing centre to arrange an appointment. T

Australian Hearing will submit the medical certificate, on behalf of your patient, so they can receive an online Voucher for hearing services. The online Voucher will replace the current paper Voucher.Your patient will need to provide Australian Hearing with their signed Medical Certificate form.
